What is your process for disaster restoration?
A. Our company will go through your personal property and determine which items will clean. We proceed to pack and inventory those items. We will bring them to our shop to clean while your contractor is repairing your house. We will then store the items in containers until the house is complete.
How do I know what items you have?
A. Using a bar-coding system, we will inventory and photograph all your items. We use the barcodes to track each item from the time it is loaded on the truck to the time it is moved back into your home. You will be provided a detailed list of your personal property.
When will my personal property be ready?
A. We clean upholstery and electronics at the beginning of the claim. The boxed items are cleaned based on when your house will be ready. We encourage communication between your contractor, our company and you as to the status of your home. We need a six week to completion notice to insure timely completion of personal property.
What if I need something sooner?
A. Before the crew comes in to pack you will be asked to gather any items that you may need for immediate use. We will call these items "Rush". We will have cleaners begin the process as soon as items are back at the warehouse. Please allow 2 days to 1 week for cleaning and deodorization.
What if I forget something?
A. We understand that you may need something after we have finished your pack out. We will be happy to retrieve those items for you. If we retrieve items after the items are placed in storage containers, there will be an additional charge to cover that cost. This charge is generally not covered by your insurance.
What about my clothes?
A. As an additional service to you, we will pick up drapes, linens, dry cleaning and wash and wear. These items will be professionally dry cleaned, laundered, and deodorized.
